This was our camping trip to Lucerne Valley California (Johnson Valley OHV) late March Early April 2006
The weather was nice most of the time.  However it was hot and cold, dry and damp sometimes: typical dessert spring weather.
It was very windy friday night  I am suprised the tent held!

nightshots:  all are with the F11,ISO 1600 wide open, 39mm, 15 seconds. First one only with flash.
This first shot I called "Eagle Rock" because the rocks at the RH bottom of the screen look like an Eagle.  It is uncanny, especially during the day.

I also found these "petroglyphs" near our camp.  Age unknown.
